Obtain Cypriot Citizenship and an EU member-state passport

 

The Cypriot Government has recently announced a significant improvement in the criteria that need to be fulfilled in order for foreign citizens to obtain Cypriot Citizenship and simultaneously an EU member-state passport with all the its advantages.

 

Basically, an investment of now only €2.000.000 coupled with the purchase of residential real estate of a value of at least €500.000 would allow a foreign citizen to obtain the Cypriot Citizenship. There are also many other forms of investment that are provided for in the updated “Scheme for Naturalization of Investors in Cyprus by exception”.
