St George Donation 2022

In early 2022 the law firm of Andreas Coucounis & Co LLC continued its now 3-decade long tradition in making an annual donation to the St George-Christakis Hassapis Foundation for Children with Special Needs located in Larnaca, Cyprus, in memory of the law firm’s founder Andreas Coucounis and as part of its corporate social responsibility program for 2022, a year in which Cyprus and the whole world hope they will see the end of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The law firm took particular pride in welcoming at its main premises in Larnaca the Deputy Mayor of Larnaca Mr Iasonas Iasonides who was accompanying the Chairman of the Foundation Mr Michallakis Mallas, soon after the annual blessing of the law firm.

The CEO of the law firm, Mr Tasos Coucounis, reiterated the law firm’s admiration for the day-to-day work undertaken by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and its staff in helping children with special needs improve their lives and be active members of our society. Mr Coucounis, as well as the other partners of the law firm Mrs Dimitria Coucouni Andreou and Mr Alexandros Coucounis, promised that the law firm would continue to financially support the Foundation.

The Chairman of the Foundation thanked the law firm for its kind gesture and acknowledged the importance of such donations, congratulating the law firm and its partners on their hard work and their service to the legal profession over 5 decades.

The  Deputy Mayor of Larnaca congratulated the law firm for its valuable contribution to the Foundation and its active role in corporate social responsibility.
