Our senior Partner, Dimitria Coucouni, attended the latest Corporate Series conference organised by the Cyprus Bar Association in co-operation with the Department of Insolvency of Cyprus, focusing on technical aspects of Company Insolvencies, and Restructuring of Distressed Companies.

Specific issues facing Insolvency Practitioners acting as Receivers, Managers, Examiners and Liquidators under the current legal framework were discussed, and anticipated changes were presented, which are currently being considered by the Ministry of Finance of Cyprus and the Department of Insolvency.

Physical attendance of the conference was a welcomed change, and provided a great opportunity for in-depth legal discussions by participants throughout the event.
